How to find us?

Situated in the picturesque Lake District village of Grasmere, there are many options to reach us.

Those travelling by car can exit the M6 at Junction 40 if travelling from the North, travel along the A66 and turning off for the A591 which goes past Grasmere If travelling from the South take Junction 36 off the M6 and follow the A591 right to Grasmere.

There is also the option of travelling by train. The nearest station is Windermere (6 miles from Grasmere). There is a connecting train from Oxenholme, which is on the mainline from London to Glasgow with copious carriages running all day. From Windermere there is a limited taxi rank and also hourly buses in summer months (555 runs Windermere to Grasmere). You can pick up an explorer ticket and have access to all Lake District bus routes for the remainder of your stay.
